Part of being a leader is to look critically at yourself to identify your strengths and areas of opportunity for growth. In this assignment, you will use a tool to assess your current professional dispositions to help guide your educational journey as you proceed through this graduate program.
Part 1: Professional Dispositions Self-Evaluation
Assess yourself by completing the “Professional Dispositions Self-Evaluation.”
Part 2: Summary
Referencing the “Model Code of Ethics for Educators,” the results of your “Professional Dispositions Self-Evaluation,” and the dispositions discussed in the Professional Dispositions Guide section of the self-evaluation, write a 250-500 word summary discussing the following:
1. Professional dispositions and ethics that are needed for a career path in educational leadership and administration.
2. Three or more specific areas you would like to more fully develop in yourself and why.
While APA Style is not required for the body of this assignment, solid academic writing is expected.
This assignment uses a rubric. Review the rubric prior to beginning the assignment to become familiar with the expectations for successful completion.
